With our state of the art 'Newen Contour' single point seat cutter, the sky really is the limit as far as valve seat geometry goes. Paired with our Sioux valve grinder and our Sunnen VGS, Tri-co Machining is your one stop shop for valve and guide work.
Hot Tank/Jet Wash/Bead Blast:
Why use half measures? When it comes to rebuilding, washing contaminants from your engine components is a must! We offer a full hot tank, jet wash, and bead blast setup to get your components looking as good as new!
Cylinder Boring/Honing:
Piston problems? No more! With our Berco boring machine and Sunnen cylinder hone, we are confident we can get you back up and running at the next available oversize. BIG DAMAGE? we can sleeve your cylinders back to standard size as well!
Crankshaft/Camshaft Polishing:
Crankshaft or camshaft need a refresh? Got some high spots and don't want to worry about whether or not it will take out a bearing? We can polish crankshafts and camshafts of all sizes, including highway trucks.
Magnaflux Crack Checking/Pressure Testing:
Having a buildable cylinder head core is essential. Why waste the time and money on a boat anchor, right? That's why Tri-co offers crack checking services before machining your engine components.
Connecting Rod Resizing, Bushing Replacement, And Sizing:
With the dynamic duo consisting of our Sunnen cap grinder, and our Sunnen rod king, we can resize the big ends of your connecting rods with incredible precision. Got some stubborn wrist pin bushings you need changed? We can also replace and size those for you as well!
Removal And Replacement Of Pistons:
Stuck with some press fit pistons? Let us use our Sunnen rod press to take them off your rods, and our Sunnen induction rod heater to put them back on!
Flywheel Turning:
While we don't have a flywheel grinder, we do have a handful of lathes equipped with the latest and greatest carbide and ceramic tooling to resurface your flywheels at a very affordable rate.
Exhaust Manifold Resurfacing:
Got an exhaust leak? Tri-co's tilt table on our milling machine can handle any exhaust manifold geometry, and our fly cutter will give you a nice smooth finish every time.
Stud Removal/Heli-Coiling/Thread Repair:
Pulling out threads doesn't have to be so bad. With our team of expert machinists, we can get your threads back to tip-top shape. We know how stubborn some of those exhaust manifolds can be.
